The Limmat-Wasserschloss Industrial Heritage Trail leads from Wettingen to Brugg, taking in over 40 selected locations that bring to life the development of Aargau as an industrial location. Along the way, information boards with pictures and text provide details about historical buildings, technical innovations and economic upheavals. Between textile factories, railway buildings, power stations and workers' quarters, it becomes clear how much industrialisation has changed life and the landscape. The trail is ideal for anyone who likes to keep their eyes open and wants to learn more about the history of the region.
