Audiowalk Merker
Voices, music and sounds guide visitors through the former Merker factory and tell the story of a Baden-based company in transition. The audio walk combines past and present in an impressive tour.
Embark on a journey through time from the founding of Merker & Meining in 1873 to the Gelbes Viereck of today. The audio walk is based on the recordings of company founder Fritz Merker-Schaufelberger and his grandson Walter Merker-Sauter. A voice accompanies visitors, equipped with headphones, through the corridors and cellars of the gently renovated building. Along the way, they encounter facts from the company and family history, evocative sounds, advertising slogans and music. Photos, posters, brochures and devices from different eras bring a piece of Baden's industrial history to life.
