Train ride on the "Spanischbrödlibahn"
The Spanish Bun Train operated from 1847 between Baden and Zurich. According to legend, the name comes from the fact that the Zurich nobility had their fine "Spanish buns" brought to them fresh from the oven by their servants via train. The original train no longer runs, but its small wheeled counterpart, which can be rented for tours in the Baden region, still operates today.
