Bad zum Raben

Bad zum Raben

The historic Bad zum Raben in Baden is being transformed into unique cultural baths. Backed by a vibrant community, it brings together natural thermal water, art and history to create a space where people can meet and unwind.

The historic Bad zum Raben thermal baths bring thermal water, bathing history and bathing culture to life. This traditional bathing facility has a long history, which dates back to 1299 when it was first mentioned as a bathing inn. It was later known as the Hotel Schweizerhof. Since 2018, Bagni Popolari has been involved in the careful revitalisation of the former hotel baths, which are currently being used temporarily as an exhibition and art space. In 2022, the baths were purchased by a non-profit cooperative with around 900 members. The cooperative's goal is to transform the baths into a thermal spa for everyone by 2027. The plan is to create a vibrant space combining natural thermal water, wellness, art and history. This will provide a space in the heart of Baden for relaxation, exploration and immersion in the area's unique bathing culture.
