Melina Nora

Melina Nora grew up in the canton of Zug and sings in Valais German. She grew up with the dialect of her Valais parents and so it is the most direct way for her to tell stories. The dialect gives her songs a unique timbre: earthy, sometimes edgy, often surprisingly soft.

In other respects, too, much of her music comes across as light and clear. She writes and produces her pieces herself, likes to work from moods and leaves ideas standing when they feel right. This gives her music something open, almost sketchy - without ever seeming unfinished.

In terms of sound, she moves between pop, folk and indie. Fewer big notes, but more of a feel for timing and for what happens between the notes. Her voice remains at the center: calm, warm, close. You simply enjoy listening to her music, completely relaxed and at the same time curious to find out what happens next...

The concert will only take place in dry weather. All updates in case of changeable weather and general information can be found on our homepage. There are no seat reservations for the show, so come early enough to secure a nice seat.

Our concerts are free and open to all. A collection (bar, card or TWINT) will be made on site.

We rely on the support of our guests so that talented and great artists can perform on the Triebguet stage every summer. We recommend a contribution to the collection of 10 - 20 francs per person. More is always welcome.
